Why or how did you pick your wedding venue? Was there something in particular about it that made you say, "This is the place!"
This was an easy decision for both of us! We both agreed on wanting a fall wedding in a barn. We first came across Kalero Vineyard upon researching 'barn wedding venues in Loudoun County'. We knew we would find a lot but never expected to find Kalero as it is a brand new venue. After touring many places, Kalero was one of the last on our list and as soon as we arrived we both knew it was the one. It was that feeling you get when you know something is meant to be! We fell in love with the newly renovated barn and all of its beautiful details. We also fell in love with the 360 views & gorgeous backdrop of the mountains.
What is some advice you have for other couples who are in the midst of wedding planning or are just beginning their wedding planning process?
Enjoy it! Wedding planning can be very stressful, but it can also be fun & rewarding! Instead of sweating the small things, relax and remember that every plan and decision you make is leading up to something beautiful on your big day. Try not to let your family drive you crazy with their mixed opinions. Take their suggestions but remember it is YOUR day so do what makes you happy! You want to look back on your wedding planning experience & have good memories to cherish that you made with your fiance, and family and friends along the way. Believe it or not, it will fly by fast and you may even miss it once it's over and done, like I do!
What are you most looking forward to about being married?
Simply being together all of the time, whenever we want & loving each other! There's something very special about having the comfort of knowing that you are bonded together for life and are in this together until the end. Making decisions together, sharing things that become "ours" instead of "yours" and "mine". Learning to coexist and to learn from each other and lean on each other for support.
